Stacy J. Hamlet, O.D. : Dr. Hamlet was born in Fargo, ND of all places. She lived in the bay area as a toddler and grew up in Simi Valley. After graduating from Simi High she received her bachelors from UCLA in economics. Then she displayed her love of travel taking a job in Tokyo, Japan. Dr. Hamlet then traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe even living in Edinburgh, Scotland for over 6 months. When she returned to the states she moved back to Thousand Oaks in 1992 to work in management. Determined to work in a healthcare profession with flexablility but directly involving patient care she pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 1997. This solved several things: travel to an exciting city, acquiring a wonderful profession and meeting her future husband Dr. Griffith. Dr. Hamlet was awarded the prestigious Hymen R. Kamens Achievement Award for her volunteer work as President of VOSH. After marrying in 2000 and graduating in 2001 they moved to Thousand Oaks to pursue their common goals of having a family and a optometry practice together. Dr Hamlet is very grateful to have both in the beautiful Conejo Valley. She is a voracious reader and moviegoer, amateur photographer and astronomer, and a bit of a hiker. She has completed several sprint triathalons and you may see her heading to Fitness 19 for her frequent workouts that include yoga, weights, spin class and extended steam room sessions whenever possible:)

 Jason C.W. Griffith, O.D. : Dr. Griffith was born and raised in Rochester, NY and completed a double major in Biology and History at the State University of New York at Oswego. After working several years in pharmaceutical research both in Rochester and Cincinnati, OH, and having his sights set on graduate school he decided follow his parents into the eye care field by pursuing his Doctorate of Optometry. Shortly after moving to Boston, MA to attend the New England College of Optometry he met the most beautiful woman in the world at the welcome barbeque Dr. Stacy Hamlet. After becoming study buddies and best of friends they were married at the historic school in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston in July of 2000. After receiving clinical honors in both his cornea/refractive and contact lens rotations Dr. Griffith graduated in 2001 and accompanied Dr. Hamlet on the move to Thousand Oaks, CA. After wearing contacts successfully for 20+ years Dr. Griffith had custom Z-Lasik performed by Dr. Paul Dougherty in 2010 and is very pleased with the excellent vision. Dr. Griffith is an avid (possibly addicted) runner having completed 100 marathons and ultramarathons including a PR 2:58 marathon, 25 BQ's, several 100 mile trail runs and a couple years ago his first triathalon a full Ironman in Cozumel, MX. He loves spending free time on the trails of the Conejo Valley and despite his busy schedule he still finds time to make his beautiful wife Stacy and two children Connor and Miranda his top priority.

Amanda : Amanda is a very skilled optician who is a vital part of our office family. She eager answer all your optical questions and to assist you with solving all your eyecare needs including frame selections and adjustments.
Nicole : She has become very adept at all phases of our practice and can help you with all your eyecare needs. Nicole has been a successful contact lens and glasses wearer for many years. Her familiarity with Optometry, luckily for us, led her to our office. She is a not only skilled around the office but is ready to help solve all your optical needs while making your visit with us feel like visiting family.
Tom : He has decades of professional experience as a Licensed Optician. He is great to work with and will assist you with all your frame styling and adjustment needs. Rumor is he can handle anything!
