CONTACT LENS FITTING SERVICES: The doctors at Conejo Family Eyecare are committed to providing the clearest and most comfortable vision possible for each patient by utilizing the latest in eyecare technology, services and products. Contact lenses are medical devices and as such require regular and proper care, maintenance and evaluation. The Doctors at Conejo Family Eyecare recommend all patients currently wearing contacts lenses be evaluated annually to ensure safe, comfortable and clear vision. Our office is pleased to offer these extensive evaluation and fitting services at comparably reasonable fees. These fees include professional evaluation, all trial lenses, training as necessary, “starter kit” solution samples and follow-up visits. Follow the link for explaination of fees. The Doctors at Conejo Family Eyecare are skilled and experienced in fitting all types of contact lenses including but not limited to: Soft Contact lenses which come in many varieties that correct for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism (toric lenses) and presbyopia (multifocal lenses). The latest in lens materials and technologies are constantly improving our ability to provide better comfort and vision with contacts. RGP's (Rigid Gas Permeable contacts) also called 'hard' lenses have been solid performers for years, effectively correcting vision of all types but are particularly usefull in specialty cases like for patients with keratoconnus for example. Due to the wide variety of contact lenses and differing complexity of contact lens fitting we have developed a system for our contact lens fitting fees using five levels of fits. Over the years it has evolved to reflect a more fair fee structure for all patients.
Please note that insurance may or may not cover the contact lens fitting fees or in some cases insurance may pay only in conjunction with the purchase of contact lenses.
